AFRICAN DANCE AND DRUMMING classes for 4 – 11 year olds!

We believe that the function of dance in society supports physiological development, promoting not only healthy bodies, but healthy minds and relationships as well.

The learning process will allow students to develop ‘soft skills’ such as: empathy, active listening, team work, understanding & processing information, perseverance and self-discipline. We believe the development of these skills will help them to be more assertive, disciplined and make positive contributions to society.

All tutors are professionals with the combined experience of over 30 years in teaching and performing African dance and music. The dance tutors are graduates from the Foundation degree programme in partnership with London Metropolitan University and City & Islington College.
