African Heritage UK is an arts production agency, promoting quality and access to traditional African and Caribbean dance and music, through performance, training and professional development.
African Heritage UK is an organisation made up of a family of artists and arts administrators with over 30 years experience in the UK cultural sector. The company was established to bring prestige to authentic dance and music traditions of Africa as practised in the UK.
We are also working to highlight the function of dance in society and the quality of African dance traditions, which go beyond aesthetic appreciation. It enhances health & well being, cognitive development, cultural awareness & appreciation and community cohesion.
Our mission is to promote quality, efficiency and infrastructure to enable access to these forms on a professional level.

Expanding access to African music and dance
Developing an academic programme of study for children and young people
Providing professional development training for Artists interested in teaching African dance and music
